RouteZero
liveA spending tool for fans of VTubers and idol groups.
- Web app
- Supabase
- Vercel
Why it exists
Fans of VTubers and idol groups end up paying for memberships across a few different platforms, and it adds up quickly without anyone really tracking it. I built RouteZero to make that spending a clear decision instead of an impulse.
Features
Browse the full roster
Every creator in one place, grouped by group and region, with a follow button for the ones you care about.
Keep a trophy cabinet
Log the merch, events, and interactions you have collected. Each entry can be public or private.
Plan your fan spend
Set a monthly budget, pick the perks you actually want, and the tool works out the cheapest mix of memberships that gets them.
Spot schedule clashes
If two creators you follow are streaming at the same time, you can see it ahead of time.
Why I built it
I follow a few VTubers and idol groups myself, and I noticed how easy it is to keep paying for memberships on different platforms without ever looking at the total. Each one feels small on its own. Together they add up. I wanted a simple way to see everything in one place and make a deliberate choice about where my money goes.
What I worked on
The build was done with AI tools, so the part I owned was the thinking. Deciding what the tool should and should not do, which creators to include, and how to lay out membership tiers so the comparison is actually fair. I kept the scope small on purpose. Browse the roster, track what you own, and plan your spend. Nothing more. Getting those few things right was the real work, and it taught me how much of building a product is judgement rather than code.
