The ZAKARA Matrix
- To remember, to recall, or to bring to mind.
- The act of writing down what matters and committing to it: a check against drift and distraction.
- Systems Architecture: Six projects built independently to solve distinct problems (security, care, capital, expression, and exit) that turned out to be connected.

-
A local scanner that runs before any code goes public. It catches personal details, tokens, and internal markers, so what crosses the boundary is always deliberate, never accidental.
-
This site. A static portfolio that gives each project a proper writeup, held to the same engineering discipline as the products it describes.
-
A care-circle hub for families coordinating the care of an ageing parent: medications, appointments, caregiver roster, and shared expenses in one shared plan instead of a group chat.
-
A free CPF retirement gap calculator for Singaporeans. Run the numbers in under two minutes (gap, wealth timeline, Monte Carlo score) with no login and no adviser required.
-
A spending tool for VTuber and idol-group fans: browse the roster, track your collection, and plan memberships against a budget.
-
A financial model for the transition from a salaried role to running my own company and owning a home. It projects whether the numbers hold up year by year, and finds the earliest point where both sides are genuinely ready.
The ZAKARA Origin Narrative
None of this started as a system. Each project grew out of a specific gap: somewhere the right tool did not exist, or an important question had no honest answer. The connection between them only became clear after the fact.
Looking back, the six projects trace a path from the inside out:
- Infrastructure (
Z&A): Ziggurat Vault came first, not as a statement, but because code that ships without a proper scrub is a real risk. Aconite followed as the place where the work is explained honestly, held to the same engineering discipline as the products themselves. - Care and capital (
K&A): KampongKares came from watching care coordination break down: the group chats, the missed appointments, no one certain who picked up the prescription. ApexGap Engine came from the same instinct applied to money: retirement is a number, and most people in Singapore have never actually run it. - Expression and exit (
R&A): RouteZero started as a spending tracker for VTuber fans, which is what it still is. Autarky Protocol is the financial model behind the long-game question: is there a version of the next decade where I am not an employee? It runs the numbers and finds the earliest point where the answer is yes.
